View ClassUAGC will observe its Winter Break from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 through Monday, January 6, 2025. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
No, students are not required to participate in academic activities or complete assignments during the Winter Break. Any assignments posted during this period will not update student attendance. To read the attendance policy, please review the Academic Catalog.
The Winter Break pauses active courses. For assignments due on December 23, the three-day late period begins on January 6 and ends on January 9. This does not apply to final assignments.
UAGC offices will be closed beginning Tuesday, December 24, 2024 through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Please be mindful that our faculty and staff are encouraged to take time off during winter break.
Final grades for courses that end on Monday, December 23, are due Sunday, December 29.
The Winter Break does not impact the deadline for an Incomplete grade. Unless an extension has been approved, the Incomplete Grade period is 30 days in total.
Students can submit assignments early, but it's important to note that any assignments posted during the Winter Break will not count towards attendance.
Grades for discussion forums and written assignments submitted in mid-December will be posted after the Winter Break concludes.
